Fareed Zakaria is an Indian-born foreign policy scholar and graduate of Yale and Harvard, where he received his PhD. He is now an American citizen.
He is perhaps best known for hosting Fareed Zakaria GPS, a weekly television program about international affairs on CNN. The program is dedicated to understanding global political, economic, scientific and cultural issues.
Fareed has written seven books focusing on the issues that define America and the world order. His latest is “Age of Revolutions.”
Walter Isaacson, the popular biographer, said “This is the indispensable book for understanding the world today. Fareed Zakaria tackles the central question of our age; what are the causes of the seismic social disruptions we are going through and the political backlashes that have ensued.”
That is the question of our time, and in many ways, at the heart of the 2024 U.S. presidential election.
